I intended to write my first Substack newsletter very early in January but life has been too busy. However, I am excited about this inaugural edition (please don’t move on from this until you have seen the video at the end).
First, a matter of business: I have added you to the mailing list because you either expressed support for my messaging in the past or I think that you are someone who may benefit from receiving science-based information about COVID-19 to help dispel all the disinformation that is being propagated. Thankfully, Substack has a self-managing subscription system. You can unsubscribe if you wish. Alternatively, if you like it, please give your network of contacts the option to subscribe so they can be updated regularly.
I was recently in Ottawa to support the truckers, farmers, and their vast number of supporters (https://www.facebook.com/canadians4truth/videos/792444382150422/).
Here is a quick update from what I saw at the front lines…
I saw in real-time the lies being generated by the government, police administrators, and the mainstream media. First, Prime Minister Trudeau calling the trucker convoy a ‘small fringe minority’ is, as most of you know by know, laughable. It is anything but. I met with hundreds of truckers, some of the farmers, and their supporters. These are ‘salt of the earth’ folks. Very likeable, incredibly friendly, extremely respectful, helpful, unbelievably hard-working, and totally dedicated to the freedom of all Canadians. I observed many of them holding doors for people and offering to carry luggage. Many could be seen cleaning up after crowds dispersed at the end of the day; meeting areas were left spotless! I saw people tying up garbage bags when bins got full so city staff could simply throw them into trucks. Most importantly, I saw a lot of people starving for human interaction. I have never seen nor received so many hugs and handshakes in my life. I felt like a respected human being again! For a couple of days, my segregation was in the rear-view mirror. What a ‘culture shock’ it was when I left Ottawa and had to return to my life of segregation and discrimination.
There are a very few ‘bad apples’ that have associated with the crowds and the mainstream media seems to love focusing their attention on them; they have nothing to do with the main group. Dressing the statue of Terry Fox with a toque and scarf on a -20oC day for a picture was being heralded by some members of the press as ‘defacing statues’. While I was in Ottawa a report went public that some truckers were ramming police cruisers. Instead, a truck accidently rolled into a cruiser. Police on site and organizers of the truckers converged and took photos. No damage was done to either vehicle and no charges were laid. However, the police liaison interacting with the organizers of the truckers had already lied about the incident to the mainstream media.
Many stores have closed at the recommendation of police administrators for ‘security reasons’. Some having so much fear instilled in them that they boarded up windows. I saw no propensity towards violence or looting among the crowds; in fact, very much the opposite. I got the impression that police administrators might be using this as a tactic to try to ‘starve out the truckers’. The few businesses in the heart of the protests that stayed open were doing a booming business and receiving ‘truck loads’ of thanks and respect.
Overall, I found the protestors to generally be ‘family friendly’. I felt perfectly safe and comfortable among them. For the first time in two years, I felt a real sense of hope. These truckers must be enthusiastically supported for as long as it takes to counter our prime minister’s intent to ‘wait them out’. It is going to be a tough slog for them as time wears on. They represent, by far, the best chance to date of overthrowing the mandates that are destroying many people’s lives and fracturing our once great nation.
It is important to note that most of the police officers on the front line were extremely friendly and accommodating; only some of the police administrators seemed to be creating some fictitious trouble.
Although I felt safe among the protestors, bearing witness to our politicians lying about them, as well as continuing to propagate increasingly obvious lies about COVID-19 made me start to feel a sense of dread about where our government is taking us. There is something very wrong when constituents in what is supposed to be a great democracy start to fear their government!
For those readers in other countries who might not have heard yet, when I was in Ottawa, our prime minister Tweeted the following:
…that’s right, our triple-’vaxxed’ prime minister who masks and physically distances has contracted COVID-19. He wants everyone to forget his ‘one dose summer’ in which he allowed the four-month interval experiment to be run with Canadians on the basis that a single dose was incredibly protective against COVID-19; almost as good as two doses. He also wants us to forget that two doses was the ticket out of the pandemic because that prevented almost all breakthrough infections. He also wants everyone to ignore the fact that current public health data clearly show that COVID-19 is occurring disproportionately among the double-’vaxxed’ and emerging science in the form of multiple pre-print articles are showing negative efficacy of the third dose in the context of the Omicron variant (i.e., evidence of vaccine-enhanced infection/disease). How foolish does our prime minister think Canadians are?
Moving on from the chronically depressing subject of Canadian leadership that has utterly destroyed our once great country, I have a much more exciting topic to end with. I am super-proud to be a member of the Canadian COVID Care Alliance (CCCA), which is a place where physicians and scientists are welcome to engage in respectful discussions. We are even allowed to disagree if we want and we won’t be harassed, ridiculed or censored! The CCCA recently released a video that went viral. It was called “More Harm Than Good” (https://rumble.com/vqx3kb-the-pfizer-inoculations-do-more-harm-than-good.html). It shows how Pfizer’s own data prove that their inoculations should never have been authorized for a public rollout.
Now, the CCCA is proud to release our newest video entitled “Dispelling the Myth of ‘A Pandemic of the Unvaccinated’”. This video was first released to the Canadian trucker convoy today and they have started to distribute it through their networks. I would ask that you do the same. This video will give everyone the confidence that we can safely fight for our freedoms to be restored. The key take-home messages are this:
The current COVID-19 inoculations, including boosters, are not able to control COVID-19 case growth;
The majority of COVID-19 admissions to hospital are in the vaccinated and not the unvaccinated; and,
The pandemic has been over since March 2021 when COVID-19 deaths flatlined.
You can find the new video, a copy of the slides, and the information written in the style of a scientific article on the CCCA’s website:

All the best!
Byram
Dr Bridle, thank you so much for continuing your work to get the truth out there!
I work as a transit driver for a small city in BC and am fortunate that out HR department backed off on the vaccine mandate and then also backed off on the "unvaccinated" having to be tested every 72 hours!
We have approx 150 drivers with one case of covid way back on the beginning. In the past month there have been 4 cases. All ",triple vaxxed', 3 of them avid maskers and social distancers. 🤔🤔
Again, thank you for your good work and I look forward to further updates!
Dr. Bridle: You have more supporters than you are probably aware of. I have seen and/or heard some of your much earlier talks, and from the outset of this one said to myself "My god! They have turned Byram Bridle into powerful public speaker!". I know it is not about this, but you are doing *great* job at this. I also admire your courage to expose your personal traits and introduce us to your wonderful son. I am not a parent but a friend to a parent of a similarly special son, and frankly, your talk left me feeling rather emotional.
