A paper was recently published as a desperate attempt, in my opinion, to justify what public health and government health officials did to Canadians over the past three years. It is an example of misusing theoretical epidemiological modeling by authors with serious conflicts of interest to try to paint themselves as heroes as opposed to crushers of basic constitutional rights. On the effectiveness of the non-medical interventions in effect in BC around June 2020: I live alone , am never visited by anyone and never visit anyone.Go to town once a day to buy a paper and do my shopping for myself and a small dog.Have casual contact with neighbours in the parking lot.But get a mysterious disease on June 10 lasting 5 days taking 3 weeks to fully recover.No fever, no cough but cripplingly fatigued and some intestinal upset.Considered myself the last guy in town to catch it but no, was one of the first(?) to catch it. So much for masking, distancing, store lane arrows and other assorted bullshit.So how many never noticed anything, after all I was 81 at the time.
Not considered in their assumptions, furthermore, is the fact Omicron was not lethal. Yet, they assumed deaths would rise was assured for a virus with a survival rate hovering around 99.985%.
We were never going to approach 800 000 deaths. Ever. This is right out of Ferguson's useless models that promised mass deaths. I seem to recall Tam predicted in October 2021 that there would have been 7500 deaths by the end of December 2021. Ontario never came close to that figure.
This can't be allowed to form a base for policy. They truly are more interested in covering their bases than getting at the truth.
This post came in just after I finished reading a Medscape article on how the Covid vaccine reduces (yes, reduces!) cardiovascular events. Might want to tell that to the parents of all the young athletes dropping dead. Of course the authors received funding from pharma. I guess they're all bending over backwards now to convince us, and themselves, that they did the right thing. Much easier than saying "We f'd up big time!!!".

Health Canada claims that there are only 4 deaths which can be causaul by covid vaccine.
"4 deaths were consistent with causal association to immunization"
How is that even remotely possible? Those overseeing the review of each case should have recognized there was a deficiency in the reporting system and changed it to better capture the association of vaccine to deaths. The CCCA should take this agency to task and demand they explain their review processes.
