Dr. Bridle, when do you sleep? You fight this war on our behalf every day. Yet you continue to give each battle your full attention and commitment to truth and excellence. May God give you strength and endurance and may He protect you. I pray that someday, very soon, victory will be declared, you will be able to rest well and enjoy your life to the fullest, always remembered for your service to the medical field and to mankind.

Amen! Thank you Dr. Bridle! Being born and raised in K-W I think of you as a heroic neighbour, and I thank you so very much for your sacrifices and never ending support for those of us who know but are not qualified to speak to the true science.

Let me guess... #BlockedAndReported. These people are not in their positions to identify "misinformation". They're in place to push a narrative. Nothing more.

Way back during my undergraduate years we studied the phenomenon of "groupthink." The consensus was that it was very dangerous and had almost brought the USA and Soviet Union to a nuclear conflict. The groupthink I see now is no different, except the amount of energy being used to defend it. That is a new level of madness.

Expand full comment

Don't forget the groupthink which has left you believing that nuclear weapons exist outside of the dirty bomb and the armor piercing shell.

The banker owned USA controlled Japan 100% in 1945 and all of the "information" coming out of there. They faked the bombs and everybody keeps repeating it like so many doofuses driving alone in their cars with the windows all up and wearing cloth masks to protect themselves from a "virus" which doesn't exist.

So maybe you could ungroupthink yourself on that issue?

I've seen the evidence that it was done exactly as at dresden and tokyo. You are just believing the corrupted press. Your comment demonstrates that your "intellect" is not worthy of my time.

Very rational approach and thoroughly decent of you....only “they” have no intention of being rational, reasonable or decent .. they will lie, manipulate and change laws to suit their well paid positions... it’s quite intentional and orchestrated...

Best just call them out for what they are ... pawns, puppets, lap dogs to those who pay them...

Set up alternative authorities and keep being the decent well researched person you are.. ultimately light will outshine the darkness..

but The wicked don’t recognise absolutes, accountability only greedy desires for more..

This insanity needs to be labeled exactly for what it is: Nazi tactics.

Defining reality by a central authority and squashing dissent through threat of force by police, lawsuit, or job loss were Hitlers tactics.

Right on Dr. Bridle, best definition of misinformation yet “something that is in disagreement with my way of thinking”. The eerie recollections of "Animal Farm" are becoming more apparent and increasingly overwhelming every day.

We have the same nonsense going on here in NZ https://thedisinfoproject.org/ Who do these people think they are? Why do they feel that THEY are able to identify mis and disinformation (whatever that is anyway) and not be "duped" by it, but others (us) are not? The hubris is mind-boggling.

Hey Trish. It's crazy. Have you read any of their research papers? I read one it was truly awful. The purest form of pseudoscience. I was put onto it by these guys https://www.facebook.com/factaotearoa (equally arrogant and hubristic and also often quoted in the media on "conspircay theories" and "misinformation") who said the study was "internationally recognised" and "extremely well referenced". 90 odd references almost all to mainstream media articles (Stuff, The Spinoff, The Herald) and 1 or maybe 2 academic articles! Neither of which were very high quality. It was an absolute joke, 3 pseudointellects referencing the mainstream media.....thats how you prove misinformation. Ohh and you give it some cute sciency words like "misinformation ecologies".

We are sooooo bad in this country.

I read the "dossier" on Voices for Freedom. It sounds like it was written by a very disturbed person, and ironically full of mis and disinformation! I emailed them to ask them (The Disinformation Project) what their source of funding was but (unsurprisingly) received no reply. I suspect that we, the taxpayers, are funding them somehow and that's what I strongly object to. I'm not happy paying for this nonsense to be produced. Let's hope they just fizzle out.

This is from there August "paper" (lolz) under "recommendations":

"6. The establishment of a transparent, outside government entity to provide research,

analysis and advice for communities, civil society organisations, agencies and

independent crown authorities on information disorders and their impacts in Aotearoa

New Zealand."

And its the same as the bottom of the other paper I read. I don't know if they receive funding yet but they are clearly gunning for it.

This is the danger Byram is alluding to. An organisation to advise everyone on what right think is, that is independent of government and doesn't engage in any sort of debate, because they already know....all the right things. Sounds like just the thing we need in New Zealand and Canada.

The Disinformation Project is a shocking collection of far left zealots imho. Dangerous and mentally ill could also be added to the list of adjectives to describe them. It wouldn’t surprise me if it was funded out of JA’s office...let’s hope that it has gone along with her.

Let's add a noun - weirdos. I caught snippets of the appalling documentary funded by NZ On Air (grr) wherein Sanjana Hattotuwa was pictured in the shower "cleansing himself" of what he has to witness each day in the mis and dis information arena. Give me strength!

Yup.

Worse. They got Peter Hotez to peer review it.

Hotez wants people jailed for 'misinformation'. There's an excellent video of him going around showing his madness. The scary part is I've known about Hotez since the 90s and always found him to be a loathsome and shady character obviously doing the bidding for his paymasters.

Caufield is spreading misinformation.

So actual science he refutes because a doctor claims it's flawed. I would love for someone smarter than me to review the article for its content and if the author's claims are accurate.

And I just noticed in the article from The Conversation, we find none other than David Fisman as one of the authors.

These people are going down with the ship. Simple as that. They're right even when they're wrong and that's that.

I'm also betting Fisman doesn't wear a mask. Caufield is disingenuous enough to probably wear one to virtue signal but I bet he too doesn't wear one.

We're still in a 'pandemic' officially are we not? Ok. So they should both be in masks. Lead by example.

Just like people who want to depopulate the world. You first, Ted Turner and Bill Gates. Or pro-abortion zealots. Abort your kids. Ga'head. I'll wait.

Dr. Bridle, are the claims made against Cochrane in that article I linked to fair?

The weaponization of science is clearly not inadvertent. Science is being weaponized to serve the implementation of a new global order.

The sooner we cease the pretence our enemies are misguided fools, and identify them for what they are: abhorrent, anti-human psycopaths, intent on inflicting mass harm on us, the sooner we can dispense with the 'benefit of the doubt' pleasantries, and put up a proper fight back.

They know EXACTLY what they are doing. There is no confusion - no stupidity - no corruption.

They know you are right. What would be the point in a debate from their perspective.

Merck’s oral antiviral pill for COVID-19, molnupiravir — marketed under the name Lagevrio — may be fueling the development of new and potentially deadly variants of COVID-19, according to the authors of a new preprint study. “It’s not a surprise that molnupiravir could cause [the] escape of mutant virus strains or substrains into the population,” said Dr. Harvey Risch. “Its main function is to get the virus to mutate faster.”

Turns out it wasn’t the case and a diverse group of nobodies here on substack does a better job at it than big tech and the MSM. I’m grateful for the work you and others do here in substack mostly for free or for a small subscription fee.

Sure, but, just one thing.

One didn't need to be a credentialled epidemiologist, vaccinologist, or immunologist to know the proclaimed experts were talking rubbish.

Logic and critical thinking are tools any intelligent person can deploy to ascertain the probable truth (a dynamic process). Such a shame so few proclaimed 'intelligent people' actually do.

I have never met a chicken owner who didn't like his chickens. It seems unfortunate to compare this noble beast with the low-life losers you have mentioned. Our problem is not with the propaganda supplying doofuses, it's with the propaganda consumers who I see driving alone in their cars with all windows rolled up and wearing a cloth mask. Without them ignorant doofuses such as the ones you have described would have no audience.
