This is how we spin into a dark age. Mind you, I've been arguing we've been in a dark age for at least 25 years now.

Today my barber was telling me he had to let go of an employee because they didn't know how to cut hair. He was explaining to me they no longer teach basic theory anymore. In the past, the first class was basically a chat on theory (different head shapes, styles etc.). He explained it takes years to hone your skills. The no one wants to put in the years combined with not being taught properly you're gonna get a lot of crooked hair cuts methinks.

My father was a tailor. He was an apprentice for at least two years before he conquered Montreal often known as one of the best in the city back in the fun days. One of his former employees is now my tailor. He was telling me that the way it works now is people set up a tailor shop but don't know how to cut. They call him to do the cutting. He's one of the last of the Mohicans. Same problem in upholstering. I took a couch to be upholstered eight years ago and the owner was a one man show. He couldn't find anyone to be an apprentice to keep the trade going. My brother-in-law is a GC - same thing. Hard to find competent work. But the trades appear to have a better chance to survive I reckon.

Again. Losing old-world artistry and craftsmanship leads to a drop in excellence. Heck, Hugo's Hunchback of Notre-Dame was a tome to the death of true architecture and that was a novel from the 19th century! Just to show you the descent is slow and winding.

COVID just showed me man is mostly irrational and not interested in facts and truth. When he's scared, he's scared and that's all there's to it.

It's interesting this is happening in many trades and industries.

I have a shoddy theory that sorta ties into this. Between The Honeymooners and Seinfeld, it was a steady stream of outstanding landmark sitcoms. That represents roughly the period from the 1950s and 1990s (the years the Habs dominated the NHL incidentally for the most part). Since Seinfeld, has there been a sitcom to pick up the torch and carry it high?

I don't think so. Therefore, yada, yada, yada, I submit civilization has fallen since Seinfeld's last episode.

I'm 66 and have been in the trucking world since 1975 and back when I started, some trucks still had 2 stick shifters - we called them 5&4s - and you needed a high degree of mechanical aptitude and your own tools to be on the road. Nowadays, after suffering decades of driver shortages, computers drive for the most part and humans have become simply steering wheel holders. Their tool kit is a cell phone, which brings to light another fundamental problem: the real mechanics have all but disappeared too because that profession has turned them into simply parts replacers. The skills of self-sufficiency has become such a quaint, nostalgic attribute.

How true. Lack of skilled people appears to be endemic. Not only because of lack of experience, but because of lack of will power and realization that one must work hard to achieve anything worth talking about. Most don't want to make an effort, get dirty and sweaty, stay up late or get up early to study, do something useful with their life. Something that can propel them forward further than tomorrow or next week or next month. Unfortunately, perhaps through over dependency on mobile phones and SM, instant gratification is what is most desired today. That though will not butter the bread.

I was dismayed, to say the least..(nice word for me...feeling mellow today) ...when I learned that the richer kids these days can take an amalgamated one and half year course, at 18 yrs. old , mind you, and come out of it with a degree to counsel people in healing. And of course, how to advertise their practice. I bet that's the whole last six months.

So, yeah. Don't forget...we're talking about the pin-cushion generation, vaxxed up the wazoo.

An overrated first aid course combined with spiritual healing?

Hahahaha...first real laugh today!! Thank you so much...I so need this.

Had a friend in Mt. Shasta, a real Renoir goddess. SAid she'd been visited by Kwan Yin, and I know for a fact , it was true. Enough fakes around there to know the difference.

She went up for a sauna, and ended up having to listen to two ..what she described as ..."marin types"...changing throughout...came home, wrote a bomb list...only one I recall...."The New Wage in The New Age, by the author of "Om Money Pay Me Now. "

Blessings.

All I know is that Big Pharma has great influence over which courses on medicine are taught. They avoid teaching courses on the true role of nutrition and the immune system being central to good health! They shape the brains of physicians to fit the allopathic medicine model!

"The administration of the department that runs this course is proposing to remove the in-person, hands-on laboratory component."

In other words, the administration wants to teach students how to use a chain-saw without providing them with the opportunity to use an actual chain-saw to cut an actual log. Did I get that right?

The fact that you are writing this shows what a great man you are. The Big Picture. You get it. Every single thing that has been implemented during and after this Plandemic has done harm. I knew this was going to come, they will eventually skip Residency for med students because they just want virtual doctors anyway or even better: ROBOTS. I’m not kidding either. EVERYTHING is and will suffer because of these wicked, wicked people who think they own the Earth. Well I for one HATE what they are doing and I’ll Effing fight them to the grave!

Hi Sirka. Your comment, "they will eventually skip Residency for med students", is already hitting painfully close. To try to resolve the crisis in our failing medical system, the Chief Medical Officer of Health for my province is proposing cutting: 1. the amount of undergraduate education required to get into med school; 2. The duration of med school; 3. The length of residencies. The proposed model is: pushing students through the system faster = pumping them out of the other end faster = replenishing the shortage. I'm not convinced this will be in the best interest of quality education.

Honestly, we need to get big pharma out of the medical schools. They only teach that pharma is the answer to everything (for the sake of profits, over people's genuine health), and completely discount vitamins, prevention, exercise and organically grown foods to keep the immune system strong enough to fight diseases, infections and viruses.

Case in point, I am 58.5, female, widow, whom was not vaxxed as a child for anything I can recall, yet I managed to survive, measles, mumps, chicken pox and caring for a young step sibling with whooping cough and I fully believe that I have lifelong immunity from those. I moved out of a Legal Secretary position in TO, when I had 2 young female children, due to stress, so the Dr. basically gave me a script to get the hell out of Dodge because TO was going to kill me. I found my niche here as a livestock (mostly sheep, but raised almost every type to try them and some I continue for my own sustainability and health) for the past 30 years near Stayner/Elmvale area in Ontario, Canada. I've been working hard and laborious work, making my own hay for them and basically being a midwife, lol, whilst developing a further niche as the only person in Canada to have successfully imported Live Breeding High Health Sheep to several countries (Scotland, Iran, Dominican Republic, King of Qatar) and semen to Turkey, Iran and Mexico. So, I'm a bit of an overachiever that originally wanted to become a Vet, and I had the marks, but my single, gay Mom couldn't afford it, so here I am. I was disappointed about that for a long time due to the income disparity I suffered all my life, but now, I am glad I wasn't indoctrinated by the Universities, especially like they are now. Because all the livestock I sold to customers was guaranteed to be all fed non-GMO grains. I wasn't able to pasture them, because the coyotes loved them more and parasites became an almost insurmountable issue when I couldn't afford to purchase a large enough acreage to sustain them, so they were kept in the barns and barnyards with plenty of outdoor access on easy to disinfect cement rather than dirt paddock areas that turn into muckyards and are disgusting.

So, I have been eating all non-GMO chicken, lamb, pork and beef that we raised ourselves, as well as being outside a fair part of the day. I'm never sick. I can actually recount every time I ever was.

1984 when I was breastfeeding my first child at 19 yrs old, I got the flu. That was a tough one, but I managed.

2009 I got H1N1 when I got talked into showing sheep at the RAWF in TO (Exhibition Place). It was a grueling 10 days and I would never repeat it and it was pretty much the first time I ever hired anyone to care for my sheep. I had someone doing chores in the am, so I could drive the 1.5 hrs down there in the am, but I still did chores in the evng. When I got back home and unloaded them, I was so sick I couldn't do any chores for 3 days. lol I lived through it though, and the minute I was able to do any, I tried until I could complete them, even if I had to take several rests due to difficulty breathing.

2022 March, C19. Was sick for 2 wks, didn't need to hire anyone to help, I just did things slower with plenty of rests and had some help for about 3 days.

My Dr. doesn't really know me much any more since the kids are grown, he just gets the odd report of any injuries like stitches, torn meniscus 3x (chasing sheep will do that to your knees!) and torn ligaments.

I'm healthy and looking forward to getting to my 90's like my Gramma did, and I have no intention of ever being talked into any vaxes ever to change that prognosis.

I don't eat white sugar, I like salt, and I don't drink any longer, like we all used to of my generation in our silly youth. I haven't for 20 yrs, but the odd social special occasion. Just not much desire for the stuff.

...sounds like an impending disaster to me, set to compound the ones we are currently experiencing! I am Canadian, my father went to your university decades ago, and I'm now ashamed to associate myself with my country of origin. I have lived in Europe the last 26 years, and feel lucky to have been in Switzerland these last three years....lost a lot of friends, and connections with family as they all bought the false narrative...even some medical family members! I am an educator, have direct contact with the younger ones in our society, and thus am keenly aware of the decline in the quality of our education, and the harm it has caused. It truly saddens me, and I ask myself every day how we should pull ourselves up from this mess so many have created....thank you for being a warrior in the true sense of the word, and for giving some of us the hope we desperately need to keep forging ahead with solutions. Getting out of the public system of education was my means of staying sane, and offering alternatives to learning....however small my reach! I wish I could say that there were more like me, but sadly there are not. It reminds me what a Midwestern Doctor referred to in a recent post....most people will take the easy way out; one that does not make them feel uncomfortable, or make them lose their status....how have we ended up here? And how long will it take to right the ship? I do believe the truths about a lot of aspects of our lives will find a way to come out, but there will be a lot of damage occurring along its path! I will sign your petition, and thank you for alerting us to it. Small steps towards a better way.

Personally I think the institution of Universities in Canada have failed. We need an entire new system which promotes the true free exchange of ideas without censorship. No offence Byram, but I believe virology needs to reflect and re-examine it’s basic tenets. I don’t believe there is adequate evidence to support the ideas of viral pandemics and gain of function disasters lying in wait. Would love to hear your opinion on JJ Couey’s theories.

Expand full comment

Hi Irene,

JJ Couey's theories are interesting. I chatted with him a bit about this in a meeting last week. However, to clarify, he does not deny the existence of viruses, including SARS-CoV-2. His theory places a lower emphasis on the harm caused by SARS-CoV-2.

Expand full comment

No published scientific paper has ever shown that particles fulfilling the definition of viruses (replicating, protein-coated pieces of genetic material, either DNA or RNA, that exist as independent entities in the real world and are able to act as pathogens) have been directly isolated and purified from any tissues or bodily fluids of any sick human or animal. Using the commonly accepted definition of “isolation”, which is the separation of one thing from all other things, there is general agreement that this has never been done in the history of virology. Particles that have been successfully isolated through purification have not been shown to be replication-competent, infectious and disease-causing, hence they cannot be said to be viruses. Additionally, the proffered “evidence” of viruses through “genomes" and animal experiments derives from methodologies with insufficient controls. See full 2 page article https://drsambailey.com/resources/settling-the-virus-debate/

Expand full comment

I'm not in the "no virus" camp. I think there are small particles but I wonder if we can say definitively that they are viruses vs exosomes. I think the isolation issue is a major flaw in the theory. I know Dr. Pelech explained why that wasn't so at a CCCA meeting but i don't know how you can be certain that what you are sequencing is in fact what is making people sick.

I would love to hear you and JJ hammer this out.

The most effective education - meaning education that results in genuine experts who can produce real, positive accomplishments and valuable end results - employs an even mix of theory and hands-on practical. Too much theory relative to actual hands-on work produces book knowledge only. A true expert is one who can produce an intended, defined, desired end result. Only a proper balance of theory and practical can produce genuine achievers.

Expand full comment

Hi Joseph. I couldn't agree more. In Canada, we have a college system and a university system. The college system opted to emphasize hands-on learning. The result is that their graduates often find good-paying jobs more often and faster = better quality of life.

Expand full comment

💯💯

I've owned multiple businesses, and the majority of people we hired had no experience in our field. We developed our own on-the-job training system that produced excellent results. We taught a little theory first, then a lot of hands-on. Then a little more theory, followed by hands-on and and so on. We produced superstars fairly quickly with this system - as long as the people we hired had basic qualities to begin with.
