I work as a transit driver for a small city in BC and am fortunate that out HR department backed off on the vaccine mandate and then also backed off on the "unvaccinated" having to be tested every 72 hours!
We have approx 150 drivers with one case of covid way back on the beginning. In the past month there have been 4 cases. All ",triple vaxxed', 3 of them avid maskers and social distancers. 🤔🤔

Dr. Bridle: You have more supporters than you are probably aware of. I have seen and/or heard some of your much earlier talks, and from the outset of this one said to myself "My god! They have turned Byram Bridle into powerful public speaker!". I know it is not about this, but you are doing *great* job at this. I also admire your courage to expose your personal traits and introduce us to your wonderful son. I am not a parent but a friend to a parent of a similarly special son, and frankly, your talk left me feeling rather emotional.
Thank you Byram for your voice, dedication, convictions, strength in presenting the peer reviewed, published, scientific information to the world in a way that helps us to stay strong. After watching, listening to you speak on Jan 31, I rushed outside to tell a dear immunologist friend of mine that you were "on fire and spoke with more conviction, more passion" than I had heard before.
Kids have been forced to make very difficult decisions because of the Ontario "mandates" on these shots. My 14 year old daughter cried when she told her dance studio owner that she will no longer be dancing because she refuses to be the only one via zoom dancing.
Stay strong, keep up the fight and just know, you are not alone in this. You are our inspiration.
Yay! So happy to receive your first post. Now, this is the good side about the Commonwealth. Because it has not dealt so much the divide and conquer tactics that have been pervasive in the US for the past 20 years, the rhetoric is a bridge too far now. Too much too soon. Justin's tweet about the truckers being five different labels of bigots was just too much. It's too ridiculous. He did forget the sixth label somehow (sexism). Everyone around the world knows that Canadians are one of the most polite and tolerant cultures in the world. They can also see that the size of the protest is not a fringe minority. And so this is now creating cognitive dissonance. I am sure that many Canadians are still fearful of covid and perhaps believe in the restrictions, but they've surely got to be beginning to see through the absolutely laughable "divide and conquer" tactics at this point!
Thank you for standing in the gap for truth in Canada and around the world. We pray for you and know that God has and will use you to mark a place for truth in history.
Dr Bridle, just as many Canadians -- through the compassionate efforts of our truckers -- found out that they aren't alone, I'd bet money on the fact that there are WAY more in the medical/science community that support your work and message. But, even if this isn't true .... it soon will be!
You refer to the OPD publicity flack who reported the truck/cruiser bump. Why did you not name him/her/it/them? Liars should be identified to allow us to calibrate our information sources.
In further disinformation, the lead editorial in CMAJ in my mail today was all enthused about mandated injections for anyone who attended patients. The legend "Safe and Effective" was regurgitated; it's impressive that after two years they haven't noticed the superior performance of adequate Vitamin D and early treatment.
Dr Bridle, you give me so much hope! so far I haven't had the privilege of following Canadian health professionnals willing to stick out their necks for the truth. well, not exactly: In Quebec, we do have a faint/shy panel of (still) courageous professionnals at Reinfo Covid Quebec who are trying to speak up, but media here in the Province are particularly enraged throat cutters ready to tear down your credibility. Stick to your "guns", as the facts are your best bullets. Thank you!
